Moment of Silence

Traffic accidents caused by driving under the influence of alcohol are the leading cause of death in Ecuador. In partnership with the Ecuadorian Transit Commission and the Nation Radio Association, Moment of Silence was a campaign that manifest this statistic.

Every time someone lost their life due to drunk driving a message reminding drivers was broadcast across every radio station in the country:

A few moments ago, [Name], [Age], passed away, victim of an alcohol induced traffic accident. This is a moment of silence in his memory. [10 seconds of radio silence] S/he is the [statistic] victim so far this year. Your behavior is important. If you drink, don't drive.`
